How to maintain a routine of modest student?


Achieving maximum benefit from your education depends upon maintaining a healthy body and mind. It is advised that students maintain a regular schedule of academic work, rest, meals, and exercise. The daily schedule helps maintain a regular routine, which also helps develop the skill of “time management” the ability to use time effectively, for greater efficiency in action. Class Hours - -10:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday with an hour break for lunch, and 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon on Saturday. Attendance at all classes is required. Evening Study Hours - -7:30 pm to 9:15 pm. Quiet Hours and Rest - - At times when people are usually sleeping or practicing the Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi programs, please refrain from activities that could disturb others in the residence halls, such as playing music and talking in the hallways. These times are from 9:15 p.m. to 9:15 a.m. and from 4:15 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. every day. Exercise and Fitness - - Students are required to participate in physical activity each day. We also offer recreation and exercise classes in a variety of activities and sports. The Recreation Center and the Swimming Pool are open to students at no charge. Visiting Hours - -To ensure that all students may comfortably remain on their daily schedule, visitors are to leave the residence halls by 9:15 p.m. in the evening. Guests should not enter the buildings before 9:15 a.m.
